Ahead of the Spring Festival, CGTN has published a special short video celebrating the Year of the Horse. Titled "The Year at a Gallop," it presents a unique artistic interpretation of the horse as a universal symbol of strength, courage and progress.
The video shows the process of a magnificent horse being painted on the world's largest sheet of xuan paper, measuring 11 by 3.3 meters. The result is a stunning work describing a horse in calligraphy and a traditional Chinese painting style.
The video also features the word "horse" in 85 languages. This emphasizes the horse's appeal as a symbol transcending cultures and represents CGTN's desire to extend greetings to its global audience.
